Camera Addiction?

My camera has become an integral part of my daily routine. In fact, I did not realize how important until suddenly it is not functioning correctly. The camera was working fine early last week when we celebrated Easter with family. (RIGHT: My beautiful granddaughter, Eliza Marie [9 mos] and her Mommy [my baby, Jiliene].

What happened? I have no clue, when I prepared to take photos something quite colorful happened. It reminds me of something you would see at an art gallery,  MODERN ART. However, by no means does this make me happy. Modern Art  certainly has its place but not on my camera!!! I am not a happy camper. Here is a sample of the pictures now being captured. This is my pc keyboard!  (see below)

Fortunately the camera is covered under a warranty. So I am to wait for the shipping label, the WAIT. We are talking two-plus weeks or more! Okay, so think about this ~ I should be able to live without the camera. (Right?) Just like the cell phone, the computer . . . the operative word here is "should!"  Oh life has changed in the last decade and these items are as important (more important) than even my kitchen appliances! Well, searching for a quote for a project this evening, I came across one that makes realize how very much I need to stop and smell the roses :O)

"There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is!" ~DeGriff

Sandy, Such a sweet photo, what an adorable little girl!
Oh how these digital cameras have changed our lives. They sure are an addition to many of us. I try not to leave home without mine. Hope you have your camera back and that you are taking photos again.
Blessings ~Mary~ :-}

I have been so lax in writing. We have moved into a new home so my time has been so limited. Cannot wait to get back to my camera ~ and MY LIFE!!! LOL
